CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The baseball diamond is the place to be this Saturday as the Knothole Foundation hosts the Charlotte Sandlot Festival - an action-packed community celebration bringing classic playground nostalgia to life. Designed to bridge generations and bring families together, the festival features everything from baseball and football to kickball and traditional field day games. Fans and collectors can also browse sports cards, vintage memorabilia, and Pokémon collectibles, with appearances by local mascots and delicious bites from area food trucks keeping the energy high all day long.
All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Knothole Foundation, helping provide equipment, training, and opportunities for underserved youth across the region to play baseball and softball. The festival runs Saturday, September 19th from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Knothole Foundation on Tuckaseegee Road. Admission is just $7 at the gate.
