CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages are in for a prehistoric adventure as the long-awaited Elizabeth Williams Robinson Hall of Dinosaurs officially opens its doors on September 26. Spanning an impressive 4,200 square feet, it marks the largest dinosaur exhibit in the Carolinas, featuring interactive hands-on experiences, rare fossils, and towering full-scale skeleton casts. Guided by Paleontologist Dr. Nickolas Brand, Curator of Research & Collections, the exhibit promises to showcase some of the most thrilling and significant specimens ever brought to the region.
To celebrate the historic debut, a full lineup of grand opening events is slated for every audience. The festivities kick off with an elegant black-tie Opening Night Gala on Thursday, September 24, followed by the main family-friendly “Dino Days” celebration running Saturday, September 26 through Sunday, September 27. Adults can also experience the hall in a whole new light during “Dinos After Dark” on Saturday evening, featuring exclusive guided after-hours tours.
