CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - WBTV’s Lunchbox Weather brings a First Alert meteorologist into local elementary schools for hands-on weather science — most recently at Oakridge Elementary, home of the Blue Eagles in Clover, S.C.
Oakridge Elementary focuses on empowering students to see how what they’re learning in the classroom applies in the real world, this is exactly what Lunchbox Weather is all about. From being responsible, organized, and great communicators to taking ownership of their work, advocating for themselves, and learning from mistakes, students are building transferable life skills at Oakridge Elementary.
