CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Kimberli’s Place Foundation is a nonprofit focused on mental health support and suicide prevention. Through partnerships with other nonprofits and community resources, it helps connect individuals and families with the care they need all in one place. By making support easier to find, the foundation works to reduce barriers to care.
The foundation’s Love Thyself event on Oct. 17 in Stanly County celebrates the younger generation and encourages them to recognize the good within themselves. A Veterans Suicide Walk or Run is planned for Nov. 7.
