Bad Prom raises funds for local children

Bad Prom raises funds for local children Joy Farley joins QC Life to share how Charlotte’s fifth annual Bad Prom supports local nonprofits serving children.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Joy Farley, realtor and Bad Prom Prom Court member, joins QC Life to talk about the fifth annual Bad Prom for a Good Cause. The Forbidden Forest Masquerade takes place October 23 at 8 p.m. at Amos’ Southend, raising funds for Neighborhood Hope and CLT Foundation. The organizations support children through programs such as after-school activities, tutoring, technology, transportation, meals, camps and scholarships.

One in five children in Mecklenburg County lives in poverty, and the hope is to raise $10,000. Tickets are $55, and guests can support the cause by attending, donating through Farley’s personalized link or sharing the event with a friend. Put on some sparkle, bring a date and enjoy prom again—all for a good cause.
