CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Oliver Crooms IV, Marcus Scott and Cathy Beasley join QC Life to discuss the Carolina Film Festival’s first $1,000 scholarship. The Carolina Film Festival works to support filmmakers and help bring their stories to life, while creating a positive impact in the community.
The judges look for originality and a submission that comes from the heart. This year’s winner is Katelyn Page, a cultural educator and documentary filmmaker who has lived and worked in North Charleston.
