CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - When tragedy hits, people find different ways to cope. For one Davidson runner, that meant lacing up his shoes to honor his stepfather, Bob. What began as a way to navigate grief has grown into a community of runners who show up for a bigger purpose: honoring people who fight for something and inspire others.
Sam Beichner, founder of Anonymous Warrior, joins Jorge Andres in the QC Life studio to talk about Mystery Miles, a virtual race where the final distance is revealed on race-day morning. Mystery Miles 1 ranges from 5K to 10K, while Mystery Miles 2 ranges from 10K to 15K.
Runners have 24 hours to complete their distance and must submit a screenshot from a running app or tracker by 11:59 p.m. ET on race day to appear on the leaderboard. Registration includes a finisher T-shirt and limited-edition patch, with awards for division winners.
