CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Matt Olin and Natalie Frazier Allen, chief executive officer of The Arts Empowerment Project, join QC Life to talk about breaking cycles of violence and trauma through the arts. The organization’s mission is to create arts opportunities that ignite change in vulnerable youth, especially those in Charlotte’s justice and child welfare systems.
Their annual SHINE Gala takes place Oct. 14 from 6–9 p.m. at Mint Museum Uptown. The evening features performances and storytelling to raise support for arts experiences that heal, empower and transform young lives.
