CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Peter Blair, President and CEO of Duke Mansion & Lee Institute, invites you to an evening celebrating the Golden Age of Hollywood at Duke Mansion on Saturday, October 24th.
For one night, the mansion comes alive with the glamour, drama and spectacle of an era when movies transported us to entirely different worlds with cocktails, dinner, live music and dancing all included.
Explore Hollywood-inspired dining stations including the Beverly Hills Supper Club, Sunset Strip Cantina, and Chinatown After Dark, and dance to high-energy tunes from the Emerald Empire Band. Black tie optional - Hollywood glamour essential!
First built in 1915 and purchased in 1919 by James Buchanan Duke, the mansion is a nonprofit inn and meeting place on the National Register of Historic Places. Proceeds help preserve the mansion and gardens.
