CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Charlotte designer and working mom Samantha Wood just returned from New York Bridal Fashion Week, where she was featured as an emerging contemporary designer at Melange de Blanc — a global luxury bridal market connecting designers with buyers and media worldwide.
Samantha left the corporate world after 15+ years to grow her brand full-time. Known for her signature soft, stretchy lace, she creates modern bridal and cocktail dresses rooted in fashion and refined for real life.
Her latest Bridal Era Collection was designed in ivory for every wedding celebration — from engagement party and bridal shower to rehearsal dinner, bachelorette and after-party — and can also be made in black for cocktail occasions.
This season introduces new silhouettes and elevated materials, including playful ostrich feathers, lustrous satin, and sculpting linings, plus true bridal styles including her first made-to-order wedding gown.
At the event, she teamed up with bridal streetwear brand BRIDEMERCH, pairing her dressier designs with casual pieces to show brides how to make each look their own.
Select styles are available for preorder or made-to-order, with limited ready-to-wear available now. Explore the collection at thedressdesigner.com or @thedressdesigner on Instagram.
