CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The Melanated Wholistic Wellness Fair is creating a welcoming space for people to care for their mind, body and spirit. Renee Reid, founder of The Melanated Wholistic Wellness Foundation, joins QC Life to talk about this year’s theme, Self-Care Sunday. She encourages attendees to step away from daily responsibilities and make time for their well-being without pressure or judgment.
The community-centered fair will feature a range of workshops and experiences, including breathwork and Qigong, sound healing, meditation, stretch therapy, intentional movement, financial and holistic health education, womb wellness, acupuncture, skincare and self-care rituals.
The foundation works to address health disparities in the Black community through culturally relevant wellness resources. The fair is open to everyone, regardless of background or experience with wellness.
The event is on Sunday, November 1st. Tickets and event information are available at TMWWF.org.
