Camino Health Center here in Charlotte is celebrating Giving Tuesday by releasing a short film called Abuela.
It tells the story of a woman who fled Mexico with her grandson after suffering multiple hardships, and they ended up in Charlotte.
Since 2020, Camino has been providing Abuela and her grandson with housing, medical care, and other necessary supplies like food and clothes
The support from donations in the Charlotte community made this level of care possible and helped provide Abuela and her grandson with the care they needed and deserve.
