CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - With the start of school coming up and September on the horizon, summer vacations will be wrapping up over the next several weeks.

If you’re looking for a cheap weekend away though, a camping trip could be just the activity for you.

Wes Lawson, the general manager of Jesse Brown’s Outdoors, joined the show to talk about how to properly pack for a camping trip.

There are several supplies you may need, depending on how long you plan to go, and if you plan on doing any hiking.
