CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - It’s a day dedicated to fighting the darkness of Alzheimer’s.
We’re talking about the “Longest Day,” or the day with the most light - the summer solstice.
This weekend, local tennis clubs are working to do their part and you can help.
Originally started by Kate Johnstone at Providence Plantation Swim and Racket Club this is the fourth annual tennis fundraiser to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Charlotte Country Club and Myers Park Country Club joined in 2022 to host what we now call Charlotte’s The Longest Day Tennis Fundraiser.
