Rosa Ortega, the catering and special events coordinator at Sabor Latin Street Grill, discussed what makes a great empanada and gave the QC Morning team a demonstration.

Empanada comes from the Spanish word “empanar,” which means “breaded” or “wrapped in bread.” They can be sweet or savory.
