HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QC Life) - It’s a big event every year up in Huntersville, but this year is a special one.
The Loch Norman Highland Games is celebrating its 30th year this spring, and QC Life’s Jorge Andres visited Rural Hill to learn more and chat with organizers about what to expect.
The games provide a unique glimpse of the athletic, cultural and social aspects of Scottish heritage.
The Highland Games originated as far back as 2000 BC and are one of Scotland’s oldest and most treasured traditions.
Events from music to long bow and battle axe competitions to whiskey tasting and more are happening during this year’s celebration in Huntersville.
