Thanks to recent beauty trends on TikTok and other platforms, there has been a major shift towards a more minimalistic, authentic makeup routine that emphasizes natural skin texture.

Caitlyn Dominic, makeup artist and owner of Makeup by Caitlyn Michelle, joined our show this morning to give us some insight into this recent beauty trend.

While she isn’t moving completely away from under-eye concealer, Dominic recommends these tips for making the under-eye area look its best:

Focus on skin prep
Select your product
Choose your shade
Less is more
Don’t forget to set
