CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Supperland Speakeasy is serving up a buzz-worthy tasting experience. Colleen Hughes, head mixologist for the Tonidandel-Brown Restaurant Group, joins QC Life to share how the team is using different varieties of local honey to create a unique craft cocktail experience.
Colleen has created four distinct cocktails, each inspired by a different early spring landscape and built around a unique varietal of honey with its own nuanced flavor profile. From mountain air to open meadow, sunlit field to orchard in bloom, each cocktail captures a sense of place through the lens of the honeybee.
The “Journey of a Honeybee” Experience is a ticketed event held twice daily on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, running through May 16. Tickets can be purchased through Supperland’s website.
