CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The final installment of the highly anticipated BLK Girl BLK Dress Dinner Party is coming to Charlotte on Sunday, August 30, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Hosted at Griffith Hall inside Lenny Boy Brewing, this third and final event is expected to sell out quickly, drawing attendees from across the country.
Created by Brandi Neloms, co-founder of BLK in Bloom, the dinner party was designed to combat loneliness by intentionally bringing Black women together to build genuine relationships over a shared meal. Highlighting the importance of this mission, the 2025 World Happiness Report noted that sharing meals is one of the strongest predictors of happiness - yet more Americans are eating alone than ever before. BLK Girl BLK Dress offers a joyful local solution.
Guests will enjoy an elevated experience featuring a champagne welcome, curated drinks, a multi-course tableside tasting, live music by Harvey Cummings II, editorial portraits, and Black women-owned vendors.
