CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Charlotte’s hospitality scene is gearing up for the return of Battle of the Babes, marking six years of celebrating community, creativity, and the incredible women shaping the city’s food and beverage culture. Founded by Morgan Robinson of the Hospitality Coalition, the event was created to address a critical industry gap: while women are widely represented behind the bar, they remain disproportionately underrepresented in beverage management and venue ownership.
More than just a cocktail showdown, the competition serves as a springboard for career advancement, providing competitors with the visibility, mentorship, and leadership platform needed to make the leap from the bar into executive roles and national competitions.
This year’s showcase takes over Merchant + Trade on Sunday, September 27, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring an all-new lineup of eight dynamic competitors ready to shake up the Queen City. Attendees will taste eight custom craft cocktails, enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment, and take home a commemorative swag bag.
