CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - A taste of real chocolate in Grenada sparked Tyler Cagwin’s curiosity about how chocolate is made—and inspired a journey that would eventually bring Nostalgia Chocolates to Huntersville.
Tyler Cagwin has been making chocolate since 2018. After meeting a couple making chocolate from locally grown cacao in Costa Rica, he took an online course and traveled to Oregon for a two-week apprenticeship. He returned home and began selling his chocolate at farmers markets.
Today, the shop offers chocolates from around the world, inviting customers to slow down, savor the flavors and share a little sweetness.
