National Fried Chicken Day: How to celebrate in your own home

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Things are cooking up in the QC Kitchen as we celebrate National Fried Chicken Day!

Although fried chicken can be made any kind of way, there’s not one quite like this recipe. Personal Chef, Monica Smith, stopped by the QC Kitchen to show us a delicious way to celebrate the day.

Frying the chicken usually takes around 20 minutes and you want to use a thermometer to check its temperature, making sure to get it closest to the bone. Chef Monica says the best temperature for the chicken is 165 degrees.
