CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - A local restaurant is gearing up for the Queen’s Feast later this month, and came by the QC Kitchen to share a recipe.

Chef Luis Jarava of Bulla Gastro Bar joined the show to make a fresh mozzarella spread and montaditos.

The fresh mozzarella spread is creamy and perfectly balanced with the acid of the cherry tomatoes and the salty sweetness of the candied pine nuts. The montaditos, stuffed with brisket, are a savory appetizer and one of Bulla’s most popular dishes.

Both dishes are being offered as a first course option during the Queen’s Feast, which runs Jan. 19-28.

Meal tickets to Bulla’s three-course restaurant week meal are $45.
