Ballantyne Village — CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Eggspectation opened its doors to customers on Tuesday, Jan. 30, in Ballantyne Village where it took over the lease of the recently shut-down Terrace Café.
In addition to their all-day brunch and breakfast items, eggspectation offers lunch and dinner menus as well as an all-day bar concept, providing guests with mimosas, coffee, cocktails and various signature cocktails and mocktails.
The new restaurant has a large wrap-around, partially covered and dog-friendly patio and prides itself on bringing French-Canadian food specialties to the Queen City such as poutine and crêpes.
Co-founder Enzo Renda said his goal is to offer his guests a unique dining experience, incorporating an array of different flavors and creating a menu that has something for every type of craving.
Currently, eggspectation operates Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
