Making Dry January craft mocktails with Artisan’s Palate

Wrapping up Dry January with Artisan's Palate Artisan’s Palate Chef Christa Csoka and Beverage Director Grayson Nauta joined the show to make two of their signature cocktails.

WBTV Studio — CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - With January coming to an end, Artisan’s Palate, a women-owned restaurant and art gallery, introduced two of their spirit-free craft drinks.

Artisan’s Palate Chef Christa Csoka and beverage director Grayson Nauta dropped by the QC Kitchen to make two of their signature mocktails, the “Phony Negroni” and “Tequila ‘Mock’ingbird.”

While Nauta prepared the drinks, Csoka talked a little bit about her journey as a female entrepreneur. She said she wants to see more women working in the kitchen.

Artisan’s Palate is offering several mocktails throughout the year, but demand is definitely at its peak in January.

In addition to their crafted beverages, they also host gallery openings, featuring a new artist every month and naming a drink after a piece from the show. According to Csoka, they were able to raise $200.000 since the beginning of the pandemic to give back to local artists.
