CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The Super Bowl is coming up and if you have yet to decide what’s for lunch and dinner, we’ve got you covered.
Sandwich Max manager Jake Zeller came by the studio to show us how to make their signature plate, the Italian sandwich.
Ingredients:
- Toasted white roll
- Capicola, salami, pepperoni, and provolone
- Topped with lettuce, tomato, spicy mayo, salt, pepper, oregano and oil
Sandwich Max currently has two locations, one inside the old Kellogg’s building and the other just opened on Louise Avenue in the Belmont Village neighborhood. They are a family-owned business with Zeller and his fiancé Maddy being the third generation to run the restaurant.
According to Zeller, all their meats and cheeses are sliced to order and their bread is produced at J.J. Cassone Bakery in Port Chester, N.Y.
