CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Attention, sweet tooths! A new extravagant dessert place is settling down in our beloved QC.

We welcomed Ali Green, the chief of operations, and Matt Palmer, the franchise owner of “The Yard Milkshake Bar,” to Charlotte’s culinary scene.

They made their two top sellers for us, the Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss© and the Strawberry Cheesecake and Cream and told us about their Charlotte exclusive milkshake, “The Royal TreatMint.”

Originating from Alabama, the franchise will open its 29th location on Friday, March 8, at 1942 E. 7th St., in Charlotte.

To celebrate the grand opening, customers who buy a specialty milkshake or sundae can also purchase an exclusive T-shirt for $10 that day. Those who wear the T-shirt to the shop will get one free scoop of cookie dough per day for the rest of the year. But you need to be quick because there are only 100 T-shirts available.

In addition to that, on opening day, the first 100 customers will receive a free sticker and on Saturday, March 9, those who buy their exclusive Cheerwine Float can score free 12-pack Cheerwine coupons.

With numerous ice cream flavors, an array of creative toppings, edible cookie dough and even gluten-free and vegan options, The Yard Milkshake Bar is a true delight for everyone who loves sweet treats.
