Easter is drawing nearer and that’s why we invited Haines Barksdale, the owner of For Goodness Cakes Charlotte to the QC Kitchen to share some creative Easter-themed cupcake decoration ideas with us.
Barksdale opened ‘For Goodness Cakes’ 20 years ago to turn her passion for art, baking, and sweets into a career.
She works out of a kitchen space within her own home, known as ‘The Bakement’ by Barksdale and her staff, where she prepares an array of baked goods for various occasions, including weddings and other high-end events.
Customers can order her delicious cupcakes, cake jars and cakes online or at her house. Barksdale also offers delivery services for private events as well as kids cooking classes.

For those who want to make and garnish their own Easter treats for the big celebration, she put together a DIY Easter Cupcake Kit, which consists of 6 cupcakes, 2 piping bags, sprinkles, candies, and toppings.
