CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. (QC Life) - This year’s Cabarrus County Burger Madness is over, and Southern Strain Brewing’s “Life’s Gouda with Bacon” took home the top prize.
Southern Strain Chef Trevor Moose came into the QC Kitchen to talk more about the burger, which was a newly created recipe specifically for the burger competition.
The burger combined creamy, sweet and savory, juicy and more flavors on a brioche bun.
Chef Trevor also talked some about which beers pair best with “Life’s Gouda with Bacon.”
Cabarrus County Burger Madness was put on by Explore Cabarrus.
