CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - We’ve all done it...spent a ton of money on fresh produce and end up throwing it out, or we make a big meal and the leftovers never get eaten.
Now, think about how much food stores and restaurants end up throwing out. A new app, Too Good To Go, is cutting down on that waste while helping you save money.
In just the first week alone, more than 6,000 meals were saved from going to waste via the app.
Too Good To Go currently works with more than 60 local businesses, including Love in Action Cafe.
Love in Action chefs OG Dumar and Naija joined the show to talk more about the waste-cutting app, and to make some delicious wraps, made entirely with vegan ingredients.
