CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Tuesday is National Cheesecake Day in the United States, and we of course had to celebrate.
To help us do just that, Brittani Sheppard, owner of Oh My Ganache, came into the QC Kitchen to whip up a delicious vanilla cheesecake.
She talked about different desserts her business makes, as well as where you can buy her products.
While she was with us, she was also nice enough to share her recipe with us, which can be found below.

- 2 Graham cracker crust
- 3 8oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tbs Vanilla
- ¾ cup Sour Cream
- 1/3 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 3 eggs
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 335 degrees
- Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla on low to medium until smooth
- In a separate bowl mix the sour cream and heavy cream
- Pour in the sour cream and heavy cream mix into cream cheese batter and mix well (3-5mins)
- Once mixed add your eggs 1 at a time, mixing between each egg allowing each egg to mix into the batter before adding an additional egg. Keep mixer on low to ensure you don’t over mix the batter.
- Place a pan of water on the bottom of the oven to create steam in the oven.
- Place the cheesecake in the oven, bake for 50mins after that turn off the oven and crack it open for 20 mins
- Set the Cheesecake out until it cools to room temp. Then immediately wrap and place in the fridge for 24 hrs.
