We invited Carlos Nevarez, a chef at El Puro, onto the show to teach us how to make a delicious Cuban sandwich.
He shared a tasty recipe with us – which can be found below – and also talked some about the history of the sandwich and how it made it to America.
Ingredients:
- Lechon asado
- Ham
- Swiss cheese
- Pickles
- Mustard
Directions:
- Cut the bread in half and spread with mustard.
- Add the roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese and pickles
- Heat the sandwich in a press
- Enjoy!
