CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The Lowcountry Culture Festival is is coming up this weekend, bringing some delicious food to the Queen City.
Bethany Lane of QCity Metro and Chef Andarrio Johnson of Cuzzo’s Cuisine joined the show to talk more about the festival and what to expect.
The festival is happening at Ballantyne’s Backyard on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 1-6 p.m. Eleven chefs will cook, and tickets include samplings of food and drinks. Activities range from mini-golf to vendor shopping to sandcastle building and more.
While Chef Andarrio was with us, he made shrimp and grits, which is original to the South Carolina lowcountry.
