Creating Dry January mocktails with Paco’s Tacos & Tequila

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Whether you have committed to dry January or you are simply looking to incorporate more spirit free options into your life, there are plenty of local options.

Chaz Smith, Beverage Director of Paco’s Tacos & Tequila came by the QC Kitchen to introduce their signature mocktails.

He taught us to make a Nada Paloma. The drink features Cut Above Zero Proof Agave Blanco, grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave nectar and Topo Chico.

He also showed us two other drinks:

Smoke Screen: Cut Above Zero Proof Mezcal, lemon juice, agave nectar

Queen City Fruit Punch: orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, desert pear syrup, grenadine, Topo Chico

Paco’s Tacos & Tequila is located in the Specialty Shops SouthPark

on Carnegie Blvd. They’re also opening a Fort Mill location in 2025.
